As part of our continuing commitment to our members, we are required by law to offer all SJCU members this privacy notice. The notice will explain the kind of information we collect on members, under what circumstances information about you may be disclosed, how we restrict access to non-public data, and what members can do to help. Please read this notice carefully and contact us at 651-484-0265 during regular business hours if you have questions.

Categories of information about our members:

We collect non-public, personal information about you from the following sources: 

  • Information you provide on applications or other forms 
  • Information about your transactions with us 
  • Information received from a consumer reporting agency


As “non-public” information, this information cannot be shared with others outside the Credit Union without your authorization.

Disclosure of information about our members:

We do not discuss any non-public, personal information about our members or former members to anyone except as permitted by law.

Confidentiality and Security of our members:

Only those St. John’s Little Canada Credit Union employees and agents who need to know non-public, personal information about you in order to provide products or services you have requested are given access to his type of information. We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards which comply with federal regulations to guard your non-public, personal information.

How YOU can help:

St. John’s Little Canada Credit Union is committed to protecting the privacy of our members. You can help in the following ways: 

  • Protect your account numbers, card numbers, PIN (personal identification numbers) and passwords. Always keep your PIN separate from your debit or ATM card in case the card is stolen 
  • Exercise caution when releasing your account number or social security number to other persons. Beware of people calling and asking for this information. Credit Union staff have access to this information and would not be calling you to ask for it over the telephone
  • Keep your information with us current. It is important that your address and telephone number are always current in the event we would need to reach you. If we suspect fraudulent activity on your account, a Credit Union representative will contact you immediately
  • Let us know if you have questions. We are here to serve your needs!
